Consumer Complaint Process

The Cosmetology Board handles complaints involving gross negligence and/or incompetence, unsanitary conditions in establishments and schools of cosmetology, unlicensed practices of cosmetology and misrepresentation/false advertising of services and school problems related to curricula.  All complaints must be in writing.   The Board will provide a complaint form upon request.  Please provide the board with as much information as possible in the initial complaint.  This will assist the board's enforcement team in the handling of complaints.
