NEW Certified Healthy Restaurants for 2011!  

The Certified Healthy Restaurant is a branch of the Certified Healthy Business program.  Restaurants were scored based on their applications and 5 businesses were designated as a Certified Healthy Restaurant.

Certified Healthy Business Program seeks to recognize Oklahoma businesses that are providing health and wellness opportunities for their employees.  

 

 Champions of Health awards are presented each year in Oklahoma to recognize in4C_VECT_BCBS.jpgdividuals and organizations improving the health of Oklahomans.

Oklahoma State Department of Health is leading by example. On any given day you can find employees using break time to join a variety of wellness activities, such as: weight loss or smoking cessation programs, walking groups, massage therapy, yoga and a farmers' market. 

Cherokee Nation encourages employers to create wellness programs to improve the health status of their employees. What is your community doing to promote wellness in the workplace?
