The Frank Phillips Historic Home in Bartlesville, OK. Oilman Frank Phillips moved to Bartlesville eight years after the establishment of the state?s first commercial oil well. A rocky business beginning quickly transformed into more than 80 successful oil wells, which provided the funds for this magnificent 1909 Neo-Classical structure where Phillips carried out his business and philanthropic endeavors until his death in 1950. www.celebratingoklahoma.com
