Erin Austin was the recipient of the 2008 John Lennon songwriting contest for pop. Austin, with the voice of Billy Holliday, and Gungor, with an ear for late 60?s pop, come together to fuse auditory stimulation with emotional sensation. Singer, songwriter, and guitarist, John Calvin is a self-proclaimed ?Normanite.? Blending a myriad of styles and influences from classic rock, Motown grooves to jazz, John Calvin creates an ambient mesh of folk themes reminiscent of the 1960?s.
