This genre-defying guitarist, Todd Clouser, exudes impressive compositions and passionate live performances which have earned the praise of musicians, critics, and lovers of jazz and rock alike. His newest full-length release, Todd Clouser?s A Love Electric, is an intuitive blend of 70's rock, Curtis Mayfield groove, and modern jazz, featuring eleven original compositions and two covers: Harry Nilsson?s ?One? and Leonard Cohen?s ?Hallelujah.? Clouser goes for a circa-1970 psychedelic pop-jazz groove that uniquely and beautifully bridges the sounds of Hendrix and Miles Davis. After performing for nearly two years, Tulsa's own The Panda Resistance finally completed their first self-titled album last summer and has since returned their often instrumental, progressive/indie sound to the stage. While sometimes hammering out airy, quirky melodies, the three-piece can also be surprisingly haunting and heavy.
