Joe Ely is one part folkie troubadour one part road house rocker. Originally the front man of Flandlanders, Ely now goes solo but he still lays it on the line every night. The night will feature songs from his latest solo album, Live Cactus, as well as songs from his Flatlander buddies, and Woody Guthrie songs. Since making her debut on the Grand Ole Opry in 2000, Elizabeth Cook has released five studio albums. Her latest album, Welder, was ranked ranked the number 23 album of the year by Rolling Stone. NPR featured two songs from the album: ''El Camino'' and ''Heroin Addict Sister.''
