Two staples of the Oklahoma music scene, Beau Jennings and Brine Webb, will share the stage in a dual bill at The Deli in Norman. Jennings, the former front man of the alt-country outfit Cheyenne, has a flair for writing rock n? roll Americana that sounds like it?s coming from somewhere between big open spaces and the highway. His endearing voice has just enough melody, compassion, and drawl to bring warmth to any ear. Often finding his way into many musical projects throughout Oklahoma, the always-busy Brine Webb?s solo work is subtle, non-confrontational indie pop, but it has just enough hook to keep a listener guessing as to the source of the subtlety: does it really come from serenity, or will there be a fight up ahead?
