Norman?s Summer Breeze concert series continues with Shane Henry and Maggie McClure playing a free show at Lions Park. With intelligent, well-crafted jazzy, indie pop tunes, McClure?s songs have found their way to television shows on MTV and CBS. Distribution of McClure?s new album on Spinning, a Japanese indie label, has helped her fan base increase not only in Japan, but also in Germany, China, and Switzerland. Henry?s musical style is an eclectic blend of rock, soul, blues, and pop. Listeners compare his sound to the stylings of Stevie Wonder, John Lennon, and Eric Clapton, as well as more contemporary artists, such as Ray Lamontagne and John Mayer. Henry is currently touring in support of his recent album, Beauty in the Struggle. Both Henry and McClure will accompany one another during their respective sets.
