Playing over 200 shows last year, Ian McFeron plays a haunting and textured brand of folk, especially when backed by Alisa Miner's intricate violin and mandolin. Competing with many big name acts in a radio contest, listeners of Seattle's KMTT selected McFeron's first single, 2003's ''Love Me Twice,'' as the top song. McFeron's sixth album, Summer Nights, was released this year.
