Bring the family to Claremore's annual Lilac Festival and plant your own lilac bush in honor of Claremore's native son, Lynn Riggs. Enjoy activities such as the Cruizin' Claremore car show, children's activities, an art show and free stage entertainment in downtown Claremore. Beautiful lilac bushes will be available for purchase, as well as a variety of plants. Visitors to the Lilac Festival will receive planting tips and other green information. Snack on festival concessions while enjoying a full day of family-friendly fun and don't miss the wiener dog race, a favorite of festival-goers each year.
