| The Community-Based Youth Services Division is the branch of the Office of Juvenile Affairs that contracts with private and public organizations to provide prevention and intervention services. | |||
| The Division has two units, The Community-Based Youth Services Unit (CBYSU) and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP). | |||
| The CBYSU maintains, monitors, and provides technical assistance to a comprehensive network of designated youth service agencies throughout Oklahoma that provide quality prevention, early intervention, and treatment services to at-risk youth and families. The services provided include: emergency shelter beds; First Time Offender Program; Community Intervention Centers; crisis intervention; individual, family, and group counseling; prevention and substance abuse groups; transitional living programs; teen court programs; and tutoring, mentoring, and case management. | |||
| Within the Community-Based Youth Services Division, the OJJDP Unit manages, directs, and provides technical assistance to the agencies that are federal Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Grant Program recipients. | |||
