Next SBIR/STTR Workshop:

When: May 1 and 2, 2013 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Day 1 will focus on the basics of the SBIR/STTR federal funding program. Day 1 will also cover the changes created by the reauthorization of SBIR/STTR and a recommended approach to preparation of a Phase 1 proposal. A high-level overview of the cost proposal and SBIR Phase II strategy will also be covered on Day 1.

Day 2 will consist of one-on-one hour-long meetings with a nationally recognized SBIR/STTR consultant - Jim Greenwood – and the Oklahoma SBIR Collaborative Resources (OSCR) team.  Small business owners who are interested in applying for SBIR/STTR funding and organizations that are planning to submit to NIH in August or USDA in September should strongly consider attending the one-on-one sessions. Any topic related to the SBIR/STTR programs are fair game for these meetings, with the goal of focusing Mr. Greenwood’s and the OSCR team’s attention and advice on specific questions or challenges facing your organization.
