Meet the Staff

Oklahoma Agriculture Mediation Program Staff

Mike Mayberry, Executive Director

Mike is the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Agriculture Mediation Program, a not-for-profit program dedicated to helping Oklahoma farm and ranch producers.

His 35 year career with state government included serving as Deputy Court Administrator for the Oklahoma Supreme Court and the Administrative Office of the Courts.  He was Administrative Director of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Public Information Officer for the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department.

Mike is familiar with the agricultural diversity in Oklahoma and just enjoys helping people solve their problems, whether they are with government, their neighbors or a stranger.  He is an attorney and trained mediator who revels when parties can agree to solve their issues and avoid going to court.

Mike graduated from Oklahoma City University Law School, the University of Oklahoma, attended OSU and Rogers State University after growing up raising cattle in Claremore and the northeastern part of the state.  He and his wife, Leisa, make their home in west Edmond, where they have two children.  His current hobbies include kayak fishing and beekeeping.

Terrie Altman, Executive Assistant

Terrie is the initial contact person for the  program. She coordinates all the requests for services and assists in the day to day coordination. Terrie has been with the Oklahoma Agriculture Mediation Program, Inc. since the mid-1990's. Terrie loves playing with her new grandchild and working on projects for her home and yard.
