An internship with the Lieutenant Governor’s Office provides students with an inside view of politics and the workings of state government. In addition to gaining knowledge of the political process, students will also gain practical work experience as they help complete various projects, solve constituent issues and manage the front desk.
Candidates for an internship must be currently enrolled in a college program, self-motivated, have strong communication skills and a working knowledge of computers. Internships are unpaid, range from 12-16 weeks in length and are offered all year.
