Project Focus:
High performance infrared focal plane arrays are at the heart of important imaging systems used for multiple applications ranging from “night vision,” ballistic missile defense, failure detection, and medical diagnostics. This program, by Amethyst Research Inc. (Ardmore) and the Oklahoma Sensor Alliance, will develop disruptive new technology (invented at Oklahoma State University) based on the MEMS Infrared Nanowire Thermo-Electric (MINTE) sensor.
