1. Complete an approved firearms training course conducted by a certified firearms instructor
2. Send the District Attorney Firearms Qualification Report. This form has 2 parts
  a. Part 1 – to be completed by District Attorney
  b. Part 2 – to be completed by a certified firearms instructor
3. Send proof of your employment as a District Attorney.

Assistant District Attorneys

1. Complete an approved firearms training course conducted by a certified firearms instructor
2. Send the Asst. DA Firearms Qualification Report. This form has 3 parts
  a. Part 1 – to be completed by the Asst. District Attorney
  b. Part 2 – to be completed by a certified firearms instructor
  c. Part 3 – to be completed by District Attorney
3. Send proof of your employment as an Assistant District Attorney.

Retired District Attorneys

1. Complete an approved firearms training course conducted by a certified firearms instructor
2. Send the Retired District Attorney Firearms Qualification
Report. This form has 2 parts
  a. Part 1 – to be completed by District Attorney
  b. Part 2 – to be completed by a certified firearms instructor
3. Send proof from the appropriate retirement system verifying
your status as a Retired District Attorney.

U.S. Attorneys

1. Complete an approved firearms training course conducted by a certified firearms instructor
2. Send the U.S. Attorney Firearms Qualification Report. This form has 2 parts
  a. Part 1 – to be completed by U.S. Attorney
  b. Part 2 – to be completed by a certified firearms instructor
3. Send proof from the appropriate retirement system verifying
your status as a U.S. Attorney.
