VCSI K9 Tracking Seminar
Description: Offered in conjunction with the Canadian County Sheriff's Office.
A canine team that is proficient in tracking is a canine team that will consistently make Apprehensions. Most canine teams respond to more calls which require the team to perform tracks more than any other type of call. It is found that most canine teams receive less training in this function than any other function.
This workshop will better prepare the canine teams for tracking situations. The tracking workshop is designed to teach a solid foundation for both the experienced and inexperienced canine teams.
The workshop will allow one on one training with canine teams needing instruction in problem solving. The workshop will expose all canine teams to numerous surfaces and environments.

G.R.A.C.I.E™ Instructor Course
Description: G.R.A.C.I.E. is the defensive tactics and weapons retention course created by the legendary Royce Gracie, 3-time Ultimate Fighting Champion. Royce earned his title by defeating his opponents using Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, proving the effectiveness of leverage and technique over strength and size. Royce has incorporated these defensive tactics into a comprehensive training course specifically designed for law enforcement. Like many skills, defensive tactics are perishable; therefore the G.R.A.C.I.E. program is the “only” defensive tactics programs that truly get officers to properly defend their weapons in any and all altercations.
The G.R.A.C.I.E. course is a week-long course designed for instructor or whole departments. The course is 6 hours per day for 5 consecutive days. At the end of the course, instructors must be able to demonstrate and teach the moves in order to receive certification. Certification is valid for one year; however re-certification can be obtained in a 2-day condensed course.
