Oklahoma’s Veterinary Board Opens 24/7 Online Store
at www.okvetboard.com   

OKLAHOMA CITY – October 5, 2010 – The Oklahoma Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (OBVME) announced today that the public and veterinary professionals can now purchase items or pay for application fees online through a new online store at http://www.okvetboard.com/. Items for sale through the store include:

• Applications for licensure/registration
• Verifications
• Practice acts
• Database lists
• Duplicate wall licenses

“We had many requests from veterinary professionals and the public to pay for items by credit cards,” said Cathy Kirkpatrick, executive director of OBVME. “This online store not only facilitates that demand, but also adds to our suite of online services that provide convenience for our constituents.”

OBVME also provides an Online License Search and Online Renewal Service for the public and veterinary professionals. Visitors can visit http://www.okvetboard.com/, click on the Oklahoma Veterinary Board Online Store banner, and view the items for sale through a safe and secure online environment. Visitors to the site have the option of paying for items with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and EFT payments. The payments are processed through a secure payment engine that abides by rigorous policies and procedures to ensure that their payments are safe, private, and secure.

The OBVME Online Store is a product of a partnership between the Oklahoma Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners and OK.gov, Oklahoma’s Official Website.
